The Pavilion has been deep-cleaned, new tables and chairs have been installed, kitchenalia has been bought, walls painted
and the flooring tidied up but there is
still a lot of work to be done.
The lower floor external walls need to be painted, the slabs need weeded and power washed. These are part of curent plans but for future use PUGs is in discussions with PKC to investigate the possibility
of an asset transfer of the lease.
This could offer a number of significant opportunities to PUGs. The group would be in control of the building and able to manage use,
wear and tear and possibly operate a small tearoom/cafe upstairs.
This would create an income steam for PUGs and
have the additional benefit of allowing toilets
to be available to the pubic at peak times.
